Using string data from the electronic patient record to compose an eHealth exercise program, what is needed and how feasible is it, what can be the potential outcome?
Composing a digital exercise program is time consuming.
Is it feasible to compose a exercise program by subsequently:
Linking data from the anamnese by a health professional to an established framework known as the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) , developed by the World Health Organisation, that describes human functioning
Linking components and items in the ICF to exercises in an app eg. Physitrack.
Methods:
Creating an experimental environment (a sandbox) comprising a written summary of the reported medical history of five patients who experience problems regarding mobility (e.g. walking).
STEP 1 Extracting indicators from the data for issues regarding mobility; words/synonyms, sentences, negative or positive.
STEP 2 Link these terminologies to the ICF to an assessment for level of mobility (possibly including a rating -3 till +3).
STEP 3 Link these outcomes to exercising app data collected by accelerometers. Perhaps a subset of exercises need to be selected if there is insufficient linking to the ICF.
